Afe Babalola suggests how Federal Government can reopen schools

The founder of ABUD (Afe Babalola) in his speech on Monday in Ado Ekiti  advised the government against waiting till all towns and villages are free of COVID19 before schools are reopened.


According to him, nobody is certain when the virus will leave ad current situations shows the virus is not leaving any time soon. 
He said schools were hurriedly closed by the government March 23 when some pupils just started their exams and final year students were about to begin exams.
He listed conditions under which PRIVATE institutions can reopen within four weeks.
These conditions are; "The school must establish it has residential  accommodation for all the students including most, if not all the staff.
Parents shall give written undertaking supported with medical certificates that the student is fit to resume accademic work.
There should be at least three tanks at the gate where student can wash their hands. Student should be armed with sanitisers. There should be infrared thermometers at the gate so that anyone coming into the university can be tested by a nurse or a doctor. 
The institution must have the following testing machine; polymerase chain reaction machine and serological test machine.
Every institution must be able to provide a building where they can accommodate any student suspected to have any infectious disease. 
Every university must have two functional fumigation machines, and the school classroom, hostels, cafe, conference halls and sport facilities should be fumigated before resumption. 
He also added that the school should have testing kits, nose masks, as it must be worn by students and staffs around the campus.
He also said final year students should resume first so they can take their final exams and vacate the school premises before other students resume.

This according to him, can also apply to public schools with slight changes.


Nollywood actor finally laid to rest

Hollywood actor Pa Kasunmu has been hurried.




This was brought to notice by nollywood actress Funke Daramola after she shared  pictures on her imnstagram page with the caption;
"Finally Pa Kasunmu is laid to rest. RIP to a dear veteran Olukayode Odumosu, aka Pa Kadumu".
The actress seemed to be close to the late actor as his death was reported by her March 1st 2020.

Vogue Williams shows off her baby bump

It was reported on OK magazine that the Irish presenter Vogue Williams is pregnant with her second child with made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews. 



Her baby bump  was noticed on Sunday when she left  Herat Radio studios in a stunning white dress.
She shared a scan with the caption "hello little girl".

Present on the show on monday  when she said that were Andrea McLean, Brenda Edwards, Gloria Hunniford and Nadia Sawalha.she said "A massive beam of light went into my bedroom window but then I had a dream, but I think they wanted me to think it was a dream. I dreamt I was abducted by aliens.  
She said she doesn't think it was a dream, she believes it was real.

Single father made daughter a mom

Single father, Patrick Ayesan  age 33 who was arrested in Edo state for inpregnating his 18 year old daughter confessed to sleeping with her whenever the urge came.

According to him, this started in January 2020. He said the mother of the girl is no longer with him hence he turns to her for sex. His word a exactly were;
"I only sleep with her when my body moves and only started sleeping with her January this year. ,my wife is no longer with me, its just me and my daughter so I sleep with her when the urge comes".
After his statement, he was charged to court and sentenced to 10 years imprisonment while then daughter his currently with the state ministry of women affair and social development.
