Wicked: Human kind.

 

All that glitters is not gold.
They seem attractive, glistening under the sunlight,
Shining in the moon  light.
One slight gaze, and one is swayed.

Hearts made of stone, yet appear so soft.
Hearts so cold, yet act so cool.
Hearts that speak deceit with ease,
Tongue so slimy, like snakes they hiss.
Sowing weeds among wheats, turning folks to foes.

Hearts that thrive on one's strive,
Ones fall is its thrill.
They gather around, showing sympathy and empathy,
But deep down they only wish one is empty.
They embrace one with open arms,
Squeezing one so tight, saying its alright.

Hearts of man so wicked.
Glistening under the sunlight,
Shining in the moon light.
Hearts so cold, one close look and you'll know.

Hearts black as coal, heavy as stone.
Hearts that deceives the easiest of fools,
Only the wise would know.

Hearts that offer false hopes,
Tongues that speak lies to those who ain't wise.
Slowly convincing, easily deceiving.
They encamp around one,
Surrounding one with walls of falsehood.
Only to leave one trapped.

Hearts that disguise as friends,
Only to act as enemies.
Hearts that pretend to love,
Only to leave one lost.
Hearts that pretend to give,
Only to take back more what its given.
Hearts that pretend to care,
Only to leave one scared.
Hearts whose laughter and smile, comes at a price one has paid,
A price that leaves one in anguish and pain.

Hearts of man and wicked.
Crooked like the rough roads.
Ones suffering, is its offering.
Ones tears, its thirst.
Ones heartbreak, its breakthrough.
Ones heartache, its Heart beat.
Ones doom, its room.
Ones plight, its delight.

Hearts that glitters like gold.
Only the wise would know,
All that glitters is not gold.

Facts of life.

Life is a tunnel,
One must follow its route to get to its channel.
Life is a ladder,
One has to climb to get to the top.
Life is a race, only those with grace will get to the finish line.
A race with side distractions and attractions,
Only the wise will be able to face.

Life is a battle field for warriors who are zealous.
Life is a rough road, only the tough can trode.
But there are times when life kicks one in the face.

Times when the road becomes too rough and the troughs are swayed.
Times when the ladder becomes unstable and the climbers begin to shake.
Times when the battle becomes tense, and the warriors are slayed.
Times when the toughest of the tough, and the strongest of the strong get lost in life.

Times when the colour of life is ugly,
Producing different shades of ugly.
Times when one's heart begins to shrink,
As you watch everything crumble before your eyes.
Times when all hope is lost,
As  life demands a price one must pay at all cost.

Life is not a bed of roses,
Life is a bed of sufferings,
Only the prepared can lie on it.

Life is not the bright sky,
It's the stormy clouds.
Life is not the day light,
It's the dark night.
Life is not a day dream,
It's a nightmare.
Life is not a  fantasy,
It's a reality.
Life is a reality thst hits hard those who came unprepared.
Life is a web that traps the unaware.

Life is ugly.
Only those who accepts its reality,
Endures its brutality.

(#ENDSARS): Those in authority have no respect for Nigeria.

 The ordeal that took place at Leki toll gate (Lagos state) has proven to us that both the government and those in the army, have no respect for this nation. It is sad to watch trained men who should know the value of the nation's flag shoot at peaceful protestants who held the flag.

The national flag is a symbol of peace and unity. Young men and women holding up the flag in peaceful protest for a better Nigeria were killed unjustly.  Those who're in 'power' should've known better than to disrespect the nation by giving orders to the military men to open fire at peaceful protestants. 

If they can't show respect to the country and its cotizems, then they're not fit to be in authority.  May the deaths of our fellow citizens be avenged. So help us God. Amen.

What wrong have they done? What laws have they broken? Innocent civilians wanting a better nation killed like criminals.

The blood of innocent Nigerians wasted just because they knew their rights and acted on it.

Reduce the crowd: A tip for success

 Good evening readers. This is our next  tip for success in the success series. After discovering yourself, knowing what you are good at and trying to be the best at it the next step to take is this.

Be free with all but friends to few. This is the next key to success. In other words, be happy with everyone, speak freely with people, socialize but share ideas with few. Why? You may ask. The answer is simple. The lesser the crowed, the lesser the distractions. If you keep too many people around you you are likely never going to achieve anything. Keeps friends who share similar ideas, views, and beliefs with you. 

Every successful person in life never crowds his/herself with people. They move in minority, with the  minority. Having friends is not a crime but keeping unnecessary group of people who claim to be friends but have not impacted your life positively is. Keep friends who will not discourage you with their negative responses to situations. 

Spoken words are shaper than the sword. Some people are failures today because of what someone said to them. You have intentions of doing something then a friend comes and says "don't even bother it won't work for you. I tried it too and it  didn't work out". That statement alone is enough to discourage someone who wasn't so sure in the first place. 

It is what you feed the mind that it thrives on. So if you are surrounded by pessimistic people with time you yourself become like them.

Remember even Jesus had many friends or followers in his time but he surounded himself with just 12 of them.

Break down your circle, reduce the crowed so you can breathe freely. This is the next key to success.

"I fought so hard for true love before you came" - Bobrisky finally shows off his lover, Henry

Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky, has finally shown off pictures of his love Henry Ike.

Sharing photos of his boo on Instagram, Bobrisky stated that he asked for permission before posting the photos. He added that  he fought so hard for true love before Henry came along.

A meaning to life

life sometimes can be very unpredictable and twisted. At times we put in our all in life and get nothing in return. So we decide to take matters into our own hands and end it. End our sufferings, our problems and so on.

The truth is whatever it is we are going through there is someone out there who has been through it and even worse. So what? You have read for an exam, wrote to the best of your knowledge and when the results were finally out you failed beyond compare, or you have prepared so hard for a job interview you have all the qualifications and when the time comes you weren't given the job, or is it the promotion you have worked hard for, that is so obvious you are the person for that position only for it to be given to someone else.

No matter what the experience might be, we do not have any right to end our lives. Instead of focusing on the dark side why not look at the bright side. Yes it is okay to be disappointed, sad, angry. But don't forget that others have suffered worse and are still alive.

While you are crying over that failed exam others are crying over a dead friend, couesemate. While you are feeling dejected over that job you did not get, others are mourning their colleaque. While yo are brooding over that promotion, others are burying their boss.

So you see you are not the only one who has had a bad day. So when people come to comfort you let them in. I personally do not encourage people to say "you don't know what i'm going through" or" put yourself in my shoes

The truth is whether you like it or not every one has had their fair share of bad times. True it did not come the same time as yours but we all get to experience that ugly aspect of life.

It is better to fail today, and be alive to succeed tomorrow. Than fail today, and die a failure. Also don't forget no matter how dark the sky is at night, the sun will surely rise in the morning.

Peter and Judas both betrayed Christ in their own ways, but the difference is that Peter unlike Judas choose to change. And he did that by living.

Always remember that when the going is rough.

You can only change what you are, and where you are now when you choose to live.
